There was tragedy in Lagos on Friday when a building collapsed on Herbert Macaulay Way in the Ebute Meta area, killing a 12-year-old girl and two adults, a man and a woman.
The incident reportedly occurred around 9.30am.
The Territorial Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the building collapse.
He said a rescue operation was ongoing.
