15-year-old boy’s hands tied, throat slit in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has commenced investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder of a 15-year-old boy, Jerome Chukwuemeka, in the Ago-Okota area of the state.

PUNCH Metro gathered that the victim’s father, after returning from work, found his lifeless corpse in his room.

During a close observation, the aggrieved father was said to have discovered that Chukwuemeka’s hands were tied and his throat slit.

The situation threw his family into mourning as neighbours gathered at the front of the deceased father’s residence to lament over the incident.

As of the time of filing this report, no arrest were said to have been made.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, when contacted, confirmed the development, adding that investigation was ongoing.
