2 Chinese expatriates kidnapped in Ogun
Two Chinese nationals, Chen Wenguang and Liang Ding, were kidnapped by gunmen on August 11, 2024, around the Kemta/Abule-Owu area along Onigbedu Road in Ogun State.
The incident occurred around 1:45 pm after the expatriates left Good One Carton Company to visit friends in the area.

The kidnappers have since contacted the company to demand a ransom for the safe release of the victims. In response, police operatives and other security forces launched a search operation in the Kemta forest, but so far, their efforts have not yielded results.
The police are continuing their investigation, with a focus on arresting the kidnappers and ensuring the safe return of the victims.
The situation remains tense as authorities work diligently to resolve the crisis and bring the perpetrators to justice.
