A 20-year-old lady, identified as Funkeye Diribagba, has been arrested in Delta State for being in possession of a Beretta Pistol.
The gun was discovered in her handbag by a Highway Patrol Team on a “Stop and Search” duty.
The suspect was among commuters in a passenger vehicle coming from Bomadi and heading to Ughelli, both in Delta State.
The suspect was said to be in the company of her boyfriend, later identified as Ezekiel.
According to the Police, Ezekiel bolted, disappearing into a nearby bush immediately the police discovered the pistol.
