Dancer Kaffy loses dad after surviving ailment

Celebrity dancer, Kafayat Shafau, popularly known as Kaffy, has lost her dad, hours after she revealed that she survived an ailment that almost took her life.

She made this known on Tuesday via her Instagram page as she shared a picture of a candle, with the caption, “#RIP DAD”.

Kaffy’s announcement comes a day after she talked about how she survived from a fatal ailment via same platform.

She had written, “Lungs collapsing, eyes changing color, belly swelling, taking breathe feeling like pain. I was slipping into the dangerous sleep but mercy said no!”

“Thank you God for another chance. A lot don’t make it through these avoidable deaths. I am not better than them , I am grateful for your mercy. “Not today, said the Lord.”

“Be careful some medication can be lethargic to your system there are allergies we might not know of. God protect you all.”

After the announcement of her father’s death, colleagues and fans of the 41-year-old dancer took to the comment section to condole her for her loss.

CharlyBoy drops new song inspired by King of Boys

Eccentric Nigerian singer and songwriter, Charly Boy, born Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa has released a new song “Odudubariba”.

Odudubariba is a song inspired by his role in Kemi Adetiba’s movie, King of Boys. Charly Boy played the role of Odudubariba, an elder who tried to usurp power from Eniola Salami.

He announced on Tuesday, saying “My people, the eagle has landed. I been tell una say, I no dey finish.

“The long-awaited Odudubariba music film video has dropped today.

“Watch out, it’s playing on all your TV channels.”

When asked why he accepted the role in King of Boys despite turning down other movie roles, Charly boy explained that he accepted the role because he’s a fan of Kemi Adetiba and it was an honor to be invited for such a role.

Music created by stars Wizkid, Davido and Tiwa Savage have been featured on the new season of popular Netflix show ‘sex education’.

The new season of the show was released on Friday.

Wizkid’s ‘Joro’ was most prominent among the songs on the show.

It appeared during a club scene in the sixth episode and blended right in.

Asides from Wizkid’s ‘Joro,’ Tiwa Savage’s ‘Attention,’ and Davido’s ‘Fall’ were also featured on the new season of the show.

Skales’ 2015 hit, ‘Shake Body’ was also featured in the new season.
