The much anticipated moment for the BBNaija season 6, Lockdown Reunion Show finally premieres today, June 17, 2021.

BBNaija fans from across the African continent can finally see their favourite lockdown housemates ‘Lockdown geng’ on their DStv and GOtv screens as they set things straight on the Reunion Show.

Fans of the reality TV show can now get the chance to look back at all the spectacular moments from the Lockdown season, especially the flaming moments amongst the ex-housemates.

While not forgetting the heated cum passionate moments and relationships in the house.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will be on the ground as always to stir up the atmosphere and former housemates with his usual controversial questions that make the reunion show sizzling hot.

The host will revisit some of the highlights and memorable moments from the Season 5 edition that saw Laycon emerge the winner.

The Reunion Show promises to be filled with drama all 20 of the Lockdown housemates meet once again and get the opportunity to clear the air and express their real feelings towards each other.

Veteran Yoruba actor Adebayo Salami loses mother

Veteran Nollywood actor Adebayo Salami’s mother, Alhaji Aisha Ayoka Abdulkareem, has passed away.
The filmmaker and his family are reportedly thrown into mourning following the demise of his mother.
The bereaved movie star took to his Instagram page to announce the death of his aged mum on Tuesday, August 3.
Salami said his heart was full of thanksgiving and calm reflection over his late mother’s life.
After disclosing the burial arrangements, he called on people to put his deceased mother and family in their prayers.
He wrote: “From Allah we all came; to Him we shall all return. It is with a heart of thanksgiving and calm reflection that I announce the passing away of my most beloved mother. She was called to glory few hours ago. She will be buried today by 2pm at Bello’s compound Pakata roundabout Ilorin. Details of Fidau shall be communicated later. Please put my late mother and the family in your prayers at this period. May Allah grant my precious jewel Aljannah Firdaos. Sleep well my mother, Alhaja Aishat Ayoka AbdulKareem.”

BBNaija: Beatrice, Whitemoney, Niyi, Yerins, Yousef up for eviction

Five housemates in the Big Brother season 6 “Shine Ya Eye”, Beatrice, Niyi, Yerins, Yousef, and White money, have been nominated for eviction.
At the beginning of the show, Biggie had informed the housemates that they were two “Wild Card” housemates.
He gave them the task to find out who they were, adding that if they guessed correctly, the Wild Cards would be evicted immediately, but if otherwise, the Wild Cards would remain and compete with the rest of them.
He also stated that if the Wild Cards remained, they would have an edge over the rest of the housemates.
Maria and Pere were later unveiled as the Wild Cards but the housemates are yet to find out and they have remained in the house.
The Wild Cards were given the exclusive power of nominating four housemates for eviction.
Maria nominated Beatrice, JayPaul, Yerins, and Whitemoney while Pere nominated Beatrice, Niyi, Yerins, and Whitemoney.
The Head of House, Boma exercised his veto power by saving Jaypaul and replacing him with Yousef.

Veteran actress Richel Oniga dies at 64

Popular Nigerian actress Racheal Oniga is dead.

The veteran actress reportedly died on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the age of 64.
The cause of her death is unknown as details were sketchy at the time of filing this report.
The talented screen goddess was said to have been on a movie location earlier this week in the Mowe area of Ogun State.
Born on the 23rd of May 1957 in Ebutte Metta, Lagos State, Oniga who hails from Delta State began her acting career in 1993, shortly after her divorce. She worked briefly at Ascoline Nigeria Limited, a Dutch Consultant Company before her first movie titled Onome and her debut Yoruba movie was Owo Blow.
She featured in notable Nigerian films such as Sango, a movie scripted by Wale Ogunyemi, produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode and Wale Adenuga’s television series, Super Story.
