NO fewer than 25 terrorists of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) are feared drowned while fleeing aerial attacks by troops in the Marte axis of Borno State.
The Nigerian Air Force, according to PR Nigeria, a defence oriented online publication, had on Wednesday and Thursday launched relentless attacks on a camp housing the terrorists in the Lake Chad area.
But bandits terrorising Southern Kaduna launched a fresh attack on Kagoro and its environs in Kaura Local Government Area on Thursday, killing 11 residents.
Also on Thursday, gunmen struck at Allawa in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, setting the Allawa Secondary School ablaze.
The school served as camp for security personnel deployed in the area in the fight against banditry.
Warehouses serving as armoury for ISWAP were flattened by the air force during the Marte attack.
