25 persons killed in multiple crashes at Enugu Army checkpoint
At least 25 people have reportedly died in a tragic incident at Ugwu Onyeama in Enugu State along the Enugu-Onitsha federal highway.
The accident which involved 10 vehicles both private and commercial buses, was reportedly caused by a Nigerian Army checkpoint.
So many others who were said to have be seriously injured are currently being taken to hospitals in and around the state capital.

According to an eyewitnesses, a truck failed break and overran so many vehicles that were stopped at the hilly road, killing so many people.
“A trailer plying the newly constructed lane failed to break and smashed more than 10 cars both private cars and commercial buses.
“The army checkpoint at that axis continues to claim lives.
“More than 25 persons lost their life instantly and many rushed to the hospital,” one of the eyewitnesses said.
