27 suspected Internet fraudsters nabbed as EFCC raids Bauchi hotels

Operatives of the Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 27 suspected internet fraudsters in Yelwa, Bauchi State.

A terse statement shared on EFCC social media page (Facebook) on Friday, said the suspects were arrested on Thursday at D&D Apartment and Bubes Hotel, Yelwa, following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet- related offences.

Items recovered from the suspects include a BMW car, iphones, Ipads, laptops and a desktop computer.

The anti-graft agency said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
