NECO extends 2022 SSCE registration deadline

The National Examination Council (NECO) has announced the extension of the deadline for the 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) school-based registration.

The SSCE enrolment was initially scheduled to close on Monday May 30, 2022. It will now close on Monday, June 20.

NECO’s Head of Information and Public Relations division, Azeez Sani, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.

Sani said, “state ministries of education, principals, commandants, and stakeholders are enjoined to note that there would be no further extension after that.”

The SSCE exam will commence on June 27 and end on August 12, 2022.
The statement noted that candidates sitting for the exam would be examined in 76 subjects during the examination.
