5 things to know about new Lagos police commissioner Moshood Jimoh
Moshood Jimoh has been appointed Commissioner of Police for the Lagos State Command by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
The PSC’s Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, announced this in a statement on Monday.

Below are five things to keep in mind about Jimoh:
1. He is a native of Kwara State.
2. Prior to this appointment, Jimoh served as the Commissioner of Police at the Ports Authority for the Eastern Ports.
3. He previously held several significant roles including Force Public Relations Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Airport Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Finance and Administration and Deputy Commissioner of Police for General Investigation.
4. Jimoh is a recipient of the Presidential Award for Public Relations Personality of the Year. This was in recognition of his exceptional qualities and significant contributions to the development and application of Public Relations awarded by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
5. He has attended professional training courses in Sudan, United States, China and South Korea.
