61-year old pastor rapes, impregnates teenager in Ondo

A 61-year-old, Famakinwa Ajayi, who claims to be a pastor, has been arrested by detectives in Ondo State for allegedly raping and impregnating a 16-year-old girl.

The man, according to the police, carried out the act under the pretence that he was carrying out deliverance on her.

The incident occurred in Ogbese town of the Akure North Local Government area of the state.

Spokesperson for the state police command, Mrs Funmi Odunlami, said the suspect would be charged to court after the completion of investigation.

Odunlami said the victim narrated how the suspect on one occasion deflowered her in his house and later took her to a market square at night and had carnal knowledge of her under the pretence of taking her for spiritual deliverance.

She said, “Famakinwa Ajayi aged 61 who is a clergy man impregnated the 16-year-old girl.”

According to her, the suspect confessed to have slept with her once in his living room, adding, “He will soon be charged to court.”
