Fans of the Nigerian film industry have once again demonstrated their compassionate side as they contribute massively for ailing Yoruba actress Bisola Badmus through Kunle Afod.
Badmus, battling a brain tumour, has undoubtedly been inundated with emotional support and financial assistance from fans and colleagues alike ever since she told her story.
Recall that on September 19th, 2024, Afod presented Badmus with an impressive N1.3 million, showcasing the industry’s benevolent spirit.

However, the kind gesture from generous fans didn’t stop there. In a subsequent visit to Badmus’ residence, Kunle Afod arrived bearing an additional N3.4 million in cash. The emotional moment was captured on video, with Afod removing bundles of cash from a bag, leaving Badmus visibly shaken.
Overcome with gratitude, Badmus broke down in tears, as she prayed for her benefactors.

This comes a few days after Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo shared a heartwarming update regarding Bisola Badmus.
Bayo’s latest announcement brought welcome relief to Bisola Badmus and her family. Excitingly, Badmus’ son, Malik, had been awarded a scholarship to cover his entire secondary school education. Furthermore, a generous sponsor has committed to funding Malik’s university tuition fees upon admission.
In addition to this wonderful news, Bayo revealed that a benevolent donor has offered to cover all expenses for Badmus’ crucial brain surgery abroad. The actress is free to choose any specialized hospital in the UK, USA, or India, with all costs fully covered.

“One of the reasons I married him is that we’re both in the same industry,” Aigbe explained. “Together, we’re building a production empire. Reflecting on the project’s reception, she said, “The feedback was amazing. I was a bit nervous as it was my first cinema debut, and there was heavy competition from established names in the cinema sector. But I was confident because I knew I had a sellable product.”
Aigbe also added that her intention is to be on all platforms she can make money from.

She revealed the emotional toll that false news online had taken on her mental health, describing how she once nearly poisoned herself in response to a hurtful rumour.
“I almost poisoned myself because there was news about me online that was far from true,” Ajao said. “It was the first time in my life that I faced something so painful. I didn’t eat for seven straight days. People around me can testify – I didn’t go anywhere.”

The actress added, “I don’t even want to remember those things, honestly”, she recounted on the show.
