Just in: Ex-House of Reps Speaker Ghali Na’Abba dies
A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba, is dead.
The second Speaker of the House of Representatives in the current 4th Republic died in the wee hours of Wednesday.
He was said to have battled an undisclosed ailment until his death.
Born on September 27, 1958, Ghali Na’Abba was not a seasoned politician.
A political scientist, he was also a trained as a policy architect.
Late Ghali Na’Abba joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 1998, during the early stages of its formation.
