Abducted police officer in Plateau found dead 

A mobile police officer abducted from Kampani community in the Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State has been found dead.

He was said to be part of a security team fighting bandits in the area when he was ambushed and taken away.

A soldier, who was also part of the team, escaped the attack.

The lifeless body of the policeman was reportedly found in a bush at Bangalala, on Sunday.

The murder of the policeman is the latest in a series of attacks by bandits in the Wase Local Government Area of Plateau.
