Professor Adigun Agbaje, a former Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) of the University of Ibadan
Reports reaching the NPO Reports indicate that the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof Adigun Agbaje has regained freedom.
Agbaje, who is the Director of African Cultural Institute was kidnapped near the Dominion University along the Lagos-Ibadan Highway on Friday.
His abduction had thrown the university community and members of his family into confusion.

It was gathered that the kidnappers released Agbaje at about 8pm Sunday.
He is said to be at a medical facility for checks.
Attempts to get an official confirmation from the university as at press time were not successful.
A source at the University whoever said he is not competent to speak confirmed that Agbaje is now free.
