Adewole community appreciates Gov AbdulRazaq for reconstructing Adeta pry school
The people of Adewole community in the Ilorin West Local Government Area have expressed deep appreciation to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for the complete reconstruction and transformation of Adeta Primary School into a modern, world-class educational facility.
Speaking during a community gathering held at the newly renovated school, elders, political stakeholders, youth representatives, and parents described the project as a “landmark intervention” that reflects the governor’s genuine commitment to quality education and human capital development in the state.
An Adewole indigene who is also the General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr. Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka, said the transformation of the school was long overdue.
He noted that the learning environment had deteriorated over the years.
He praised Governor AbdulRazaq for prioritizing public education and ensuring that children in the community now have access to a safe, conducive, and inspiring learning atmosphere.
“We are grateful to His Excellency for not just renovating but completely rebuilding Adeta Primary School to meet global best standards. .
“This is no small feat. Our children now have access to modern classrooms, furniture, learning materials, clean water, and sanitation facilities. This has restored dignity to public education in our area,” he said.

Also speaking, the former SSA to the Governor on Rural Mobilization, Mallam Abdulrazaq Ibrahim Idowu, said the facility with cutting-edge technology would not only serve the children of Adewole, but also the entire adjoining communities.
He commended the governor for prioritizing basic education for a better Kwara.
In his remarks, the Ward APC Youths Leader, Mallam Moshood Saliman, praised the governor for his youth inclusive governance, adding that his approach had brought lots of fortunes to kwara youths.
The Chairman of Adewole Ward stakeholders, Mallam Abdulganiyu Saka, also noted that the new educational facilities would breed better and brighter future leaders, adding that the yet-to-be-born generations would continue to appreciate the governor for the landmark project.
A visit to the school revealed well-furnished classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art learning tools, including CCTV cameras, secure perimeter fencing, staff offices, solar-powered electricity, and a water facility.
The school now stands as a model for what basic education infrastructure should look like in the 21st century.
The Adeta Primary School reconstruction is one of several basic education projects executed under the governor’s administration through counterpart funding between Kwara State Government and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), aimed at reviving public schools and reducing the infrastructural deficit across the state.
The Adewole community pledged continued support for the administration and reaffirmed their readiness to safeguard the school’s facilities and promote maintenance culture through community participation and vigilance.
