Aisha Yesufu rebukes Tinubu, says president has ‘no strategy’

Nigerian politician and activist Aisha Yesufu has berated President Bola Tinubu over his handling of the affairs of the nation.

Yesufu condemned Tinubu’s economic policies, which, according to her, have resulted in untold hardship for the populace.

Describing the Nigerian leader as “incompetent,” Yesufu, in a series of statements on X on Friday, stated that Tinubu, who prides himself on being a “master strategist,” has “no strategy” to solve Nigeria’s problems.

She made the comments while reacting to the news of the 300% increase in the electricity tariff.

Chronicle NG reports that the Tinubu-led federal government has put in place plans to hike the tariff on electricity by 300% for locations that enjoy at least 20 hours of electricity.

Reacting to the news, Yesufu said, “You slept through the incompetence of Buhari and Tinubu but suddenly cannot sleep because of the increased electricity tariff?

“This too shall pass. Just increase your usual praise for the incompetent and failed illegitimate government.

“Master strategist with no strategy hijacked power.”

She added, “I am waiting for the usual APC card to play out. Reduce the electricity tariff slightly and send boys and girls out to praise Mr. Tinubu as being the best thing after jollof rice.”
