Ajibade’s brace stuns Cameroon as Super Falcons soar in Abeokuta
Nigeria’s Super Falcons secured a convincing 2-0 victory over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a friendly match on Tuesday night at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Team captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, was the star of the night, netting a first-half brace to seal the win.
She opened the scoring in the 28th minute from the penalty spot before adding a second in the 43rd minute, latching onto a precise pass from Omorinsola Babajide and finishing with composure.
