Alaafin of Oyo’s eldest wife dies two months after husband’s demise

About two months after the death of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, one of his oldest queens, Olori Kafayat, has also passed on.

Her death is however yet to be confirmed by the family, but it was reliably gathered that she died on Friday night.
She was the mother of Prince Adebayo Adeyemi, the Chairman, Oyo State Local Government Pensions Board
