Tobi Amusan
Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has made the final list of World Women’s Athlete of the Year 2022 award.
Amusan has dominated in the women’s 100m hurdles this year, setting a world record time of 12.12 seconds in the semi-finals of the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon in July, before taking gold in the final.
The 25-year-old is also the current Diamond League, Commonwealth and African 100m hurdles champion and she will battle Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Kimberly Garcia, Sydney McLaughlin and Yulimar Rojas for the award which will be announced in December.
