Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, won the Anambra Governorship Election in the Ogbaru Local Government Area.
Although Prof. Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance has won in most of the other LGAs’ results so far declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission in the Saturday poll, Ozigbo was declared winner in Ogbaru.
He polled a total of 3,445 votes ahead of Soludo of APGA, who secured 3,051 votes while Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress polled 1,178.
