An Anglican Church reverend father found kissing female students during a church service at St Monica’s College of Education at Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has been sacked.
The pastor, Rev Fr Baltharzar Obeng Larbi, was reportedly sacked on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, after an emergency meeting.
The video that captures the Anglican Church priest kissing some female students of St Monica’s College Of Education has gone viral on the social media.
In the video, the Reverend Father could be seen removing his face mask before kissing the female students who took turns to receive whatever blessing the preacher claimed to offer with the kissing.
The church members made up of both elderly and young people, are seen excitedly jumping and screaming to cheer up the man of God’s kissing.

The girls appeared uncomfortable but had to oblige as their priest kissed them on the altar, in front of the entire congregation.
The Anglican Church had promptly released a statement after the video of the kissing had gone viral.
The church in the statement said it was saddened by the video circulating on social media in which one of their priests was seen kissing three female students of St. Monica’s College of Education during a church service.
It stated, “The church is saddened by the news and wishes to state expressly that, a thorough investigation has immediately been instituted into the matter and the action of the said Priest would be dealt with in accordance with the norms and values of the Anglican Communion where morality is extremely revered in the church.”
It also declared that measures were being put in place to help the affected students get over the experience.
“All efforts are being made to engage the students concerned through counselling sessions to avert any psychological issues that may arise as a result of the viral video,” it stated.
