Anthony Joshua Returns to Gym, Draws New Strength After Surviving Car Crash
Former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has returned to the gym, marking a major step in his physical and mental recovery following a tragic car crash that claimed the lives of two close members of his team.
Joshua shared clips of his light workouts on social media, showing him cycling, strength training and doing controlled gym routines, which he described as part of his “mental strength therapy.” The boxer appeared focused and composed as he gradually eased back into training.
The crash, which occurred in late December, reportedly involved Joshua and members of his entourage while travelling, leading to the death of his personal trainer and strength coach. Joshua sustained minor injuries and was later discharged from hospital.
