Breaking: Appeal Court reverses Nasarawa Gov Abdullahi Sule sacking
The Court of Appeal in Abuja on Thursday set aside the judgement of a tribunal sacking Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.
It ruled that the the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), David Ombugadu, in the March 18, 2023 election was declared winner in error by the lower court.
In a judgement delivered on Thursday, the three-member panel of justices unanimously held that the Nasarawa State Election Petition Tribunal erred in law in concluding that Sule did not win the majority of the votes cast during the election.
