Some armed thugs on Saturday disrupted voting process in Osogbo, Osun State, as they dispersed INEC officials and other voters.
Voting was said to be ongoing at polling units 10 and 11 of Ward 5 when some armed hoodlums arrived at the units and shot sporadically into the air to disperse INEC officials, party agents and the electorate in the queue.
The thugs did not take away the ballot boxes but they succeeded in creating confusion that halted the process and forced both the electoral officers and the voters in the two units to flee.
