Protesting Students
Protesting students on Friday grounded Ijebu-Ode/Benin/Ore expressway in a demonstration against the ongoing strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The students in their hundreds under the aegis of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), brought traffic flow to a halt, as part of the protest on the fourth day.
The protest which began on Tuesday with the blockade of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, according to them, was meant to force the government into action.
