Atiku meets Obasanjo in Abeokuta behind closed doors
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar on Monday met with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate led a delegation to meet with Obasanjo at the residence of the former Nigerian leader in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He was accompanied by former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke and Senator Aminu Tambuwal, an ex-governor of Sokoto State.
The agenda of the meeting was not immediately known.
The meeting came amid plans by opposition politicians to map out strategies to form an alliance against the All Progressives Congress, APC, and win the 2027 presidential election.
