Atiku, Shettima ‘reunite’ at Abuja wedding
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday met Vice-President Kashim Shettima at a wedding ceremony in Abuja.
Both men set aside their political differences and exchanged pleasantries at the event.
Indeed they sat close to each other during the ceremony.
It was the wedding between Mohammed (Ameer) Bunu and Ikramullah Jamal Arabi.
Atiku, who was presidential candidate of the PDP in the February 25 presidential election, is currently challenging the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) under which Shettima ran on a joint ticket with President Bola Tinubu.
Among those who attended the wedding which took place at the Al-Nur Mosque in Abuja are Major Gen Babagana Monguno (rtd), former National Security Adviser; and Prof Ali Isa Pantami, immediate past Minister of Communication and Digital Economy.
