Bandit kingpin, Bello Turji, reportedly kills 2 hostages despite ransom payment

Notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji, has reportedly killed two kidnap victims from Isa Local Government Area in Sokoto State, even after their families paid a ransom for their release.

According to a report by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama on Friday, the victims were kidnapped during a recent attack on their community.

Their families had complied with the ransom demands, hoping for their safe return.

“Despite receiving the ransom, Turji executed the victims. It was an act of cruelty that has left the entire community devastated,” a source disclosed.

At the time of filing this report, the police had not issued any statement regarding the incident.
