Among those abducted is Pastor Bernard Gajera from one of the churches. As of now, no official statement has been released by the police regarding the attack.
This attack comes just a month after the Maro community raised funds to construct a security post, hoping to attract more law enforcement personnel to protect the area from recurring assaults.
These repeated attacks have had a devastating impact on the community, with many farmers forced to abandon their fields due to insecurity.
The ongoing violence in Kajuru highlights the urgent need for increased security measures in the region as residents continue to live in fear.
