The second half belonged entirely to Barcelona. López extended their lead early after being released by Raphinha, before Lewandowski took control of the contest. The experienced striker scored twice—first heading in from a Raphinha corner and then finishing clinically from open play—to effectively end Newcastle’s hopes of a comeback.

Barcelona continued to dominate possession and create chances, with Raphinha adding his second goal of the night after intercepting a poor pass from Newcastle midfielder Jacob Ramsey and finishing confidently to complete the rout.

The result underscores Barcelona’s strength in attack, midfield creativity, and Champions League experience, as they progress confidently into the quarter-finals.
