President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday met with the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
They met before the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja, which the President presided over.
Though the reason for the meeting could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report, it was said to be in connection with issues of campaigns and other prevailing national issues.
Buhari later joined the weekly FEC meeting at about 10.40am, 40 minutes later than the usual time, as the meeting is often started 10am.
