Head of the Corporate Affairs of Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), Mr Tayo Adekunle, has died after a brief illness.
His death was announced on Tuesday in Benin through a statement signed by the BEDC management.
The spokesman was said to have on August 19 moderated the company’s media parley at its corporate headquarters on Akpakpava Road, Benin, without showing any sign of illness.
BEDC said in the statement, “With grief and heavy hearts, the management and staff of BEDC PLC wish to inform you of the demise of our beloved colleague, friend, team leader and an amazing compatriot, Adekunle Anthony Tayo, who passed away in the early hours of August 28, after a brief illness.”
