Betta Edu: Tinubu summons Interior Minister Tunji-Ojo
President Bola Tinubu has summoned the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to the Presidential Villa.
The invitation follows reports that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs awarded a private company he had interest in a consultancy contract worth N438 million.
The job was for the National Social Register given to New Planet Projects Ltd, a company he is said to be a beneficial owner.
Betta Edu, humanitarian minister, has been suspended over the deal and other alleged fraudulent acts including moving N585 million to a private account.
