A boat meant to take journalists to the Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State broke down on Saturday shortly after taking off.
The journalists were assigned to cover the voting of the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, at his polling unit in the area.
The journalists, according to a report by the Punch, had to disembark from the boat while they waited for another ferry.
Adediran’s polling unit is located at Osolu Junior High School, Unit 001, ward G in Irewe community.
Irewe is a town in the Ojo Local Government Area of the state and situated on the Island of one of the creeks in Badagry.
Jandor later voted in his polling unit before noon as reported and shown in a video clip by Channels Television.
