Bobrisky denies link with leaked audio in EFCC bribery scandal
Controversial social media personality Bobrisky has denied the authenticity of a leaked audio that allegedly implicates him in a scandal involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a sum of N15 million.
The audio, which was released by controversial activist Verydarkman, purportedly features Bobrisky discussing a payment made to secure a more favorable living arrangement while in EFCC custody.
In a recent Instagram post, Bobrisky insisted that he is being framed and labeled the audio as fake.
He expressed his concerns about the possibility of being detained again at the EFCC facility, where he claims he faced intimidation during a previous remand.
Bobrisky is calling for an open trial to ensure transparency, stating that he is ready to cooperate with investigations but demands that they occur outside of the EFCC’s current office.
Bobrisky also emphasized the potential for audio manipulation, arguing that anyone can edit or fabricate audio recordings.
He challenged those who released the audio to take responsibility for their actions.
