Bobrisky responds to Falana’s demand for public apology
Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has responded to a letter from renowned lawyer Femi Falana and his son, musician Folarin Falana, known as Falz.
The correspondence, which was reported by Within Nigeria, urged Bobrisky to apologize for allegedly defamatory remarks made in audio recordings shared by social media activist, VeryDarkMan.
Falana’s letter included a 12-hour ultimatum, warning of potential legal consequences should Bobrisky fail to comply.
In a statement posted on his Instagram Story, Bobrisky firmly denied the allegations of defamation.
He also dismissed claims that he had bribed the Senior Advocate of Nigeria to obtain a presidential pardon, emphasizing that he would no longer engage in public discussions regarding the matter and would leave all legal matters to his attorney.
Additionally, Bobrisky distanced himself from the controversial audio recordings, stating that the individual responsible for sharing the content should be held accountable.
