Boko Haram leader, three others killed at Sambisa Forest battle
A notorious Boko Haram Commander, Abu Rajab and three other terrorists have been killed by Nigerian troops in a raid at Sambisa Forest.
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai had raided Sambisa Forest in Borno State and came in counter with the Boko Haram terrorists.
The feat was achieved when the troops in with Hybrid Force and CJTF, stormed the terrorists camp in Bula Daloje general area of Bama LGA, in a daring raid operation on August 17, 2024.

Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region quoted intelligence sources as saying that the troops’ incursion was met by an ambush staged by the insurgents en-route to their enclave which resulted in a heavy gun battle.
The source said the troops, however, successfully repelled the attack, killing the terrorists and forcing others to withdraw, adding that during the operation, troops recovered two AK-47 rifles and a mobile phone.
The source said unfortunately, one Hybrid Force personnel sustained gunshot wounds and later died.
