BREAKING: El-Rufai imposes 24-hour curfew on Kaduna community over killings

The Kaduna State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Sabon Garin Nassarawa communities in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state after the killing of two persons.

A statement by the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the curfew was with immediate effect.

He also said the decision was taken following a breakdown of law and order that led to the death of two people in a gang violent incident.

The commissioner said security agencies had been directed to enforce the curfew in the area and restore order, while investigation into the incident had commenced.
