BREAKING: Ex-presidential aide, Doyin Okupe, is dead
Doyin Okupe, a respected Nigerian physician, politician, and former presidential adviser, has died at the age of 72.
Family sources revealed that Dr. Okupe had been gravely ill in the weeks before his passing, with his health rapidly declining and causing distress among his loved ones and supporters.
According to sources, he died after a prolonged battle with cancer.

In October 2023, it was reported that Okupe was receiving treatment for prostate cancer in Israel. Despite efforts to manage his condition, his health did not improve as hoped.
Okupe was initially diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.
