This incident follows a similar kidnapping that occurred on Saturday, when an official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), identified as Emeason Chima, was also taken along the same road.

While details of Prof. Ujam’s abduction remain unclear, it has been confirmed that he is a member of the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry.

As of now, the suspected kidnappers have not contacted his relatives for ransom. Efforts to reach the police command spokesperson for comment have been unsuccessful, as calls have gone unanswered.
