BREAKING: Happie boys arrested, remanded in Cyprus prison
Former security guards turned entertainers, Happie Boys, have been reportedly arrested in Cyprus.
A reliable source said the boys were arrested and arraigned in court on Monday and thereafter remanded in prison.
Although details of their arrest and detention were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, recall that the boys made news earlier this year after they called out clergyman, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, who sent them on scholarship to Cyprus after they were sacked by a fast food restaurant for dancing on duty.

The boys, led by Matthew Kelechi, made fun of the renowned priest alleging that he abandoned them in Cyprus.
They subsequently rejected the clergyman’s offer to pay for their return flights to Nigeria so they could attend any university in Nigeria or Benin Republic.
They also made unpleasant remarks about the clergyman and mocked his inability to continue funding their overseas scholarship in Europe.
