Updated: Bandits kill one, abduct married women in fresh Kaduna attack

At least 18 persons, including women, have been abducted and one person killed by gunmen at Angwar Zalla Udawa in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The gunmen reportedly stormed the village along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway around 12:30am on Sunday.

A community leader in Udawa, Muhammed Umaru, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust,‎ gave the name of the deceased as Bala Jaja.
He said married women, adults and young ladies were among those abducted.
No official reaction yet from the state government and the police.
