Breaking: Morocco shock Portugal 1-0, zoom into semi-final

Morocco on Saturday became the first African nation to qualify for the semi-fonal stage of FIFA World Cup.

The African team beat Portugal 1-0 to boot the Ronaldo-led side out of the 2022 World Cup holding in Qatar.

It was another shocker of the FIFA World Cup as  Morocco hanged grimly to a one-goal lead for more than half of the match and sending heavily favoured Portugal crashing out.

Youssef En-Nesyri banged in a header a few minutes before the half time as Portuguese goalkeeper Diogo Costa misjudged a high pass fired into the box.

Portugal threw everything they had into the attack in the second half and there were many heart-stopping moments for the African nation before the full-time whistle was blown.
