BREAKING: NNPP, APC sign peace deal in Kano ahead of Appeal Court’s judgement
The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have sign a pact with the Kano state police command to maintain peace before, during and after the governorship election appeal verdict to be delivered by the Appeal Court in Abuja on Friday.
The state Commissioner of Police, Usaini Gumel while addressing journalists at the Police Command Headquarters in Bompai on Thursday, said the force has drawn up modalities that would promote peace and harmony in the state before, during and after the governorship appeal verdict which is to take place in Abuja on Friday.

Mr Gumel who spoke in company of other heads of security agencies, added that that the command has concluded all security arrangements to ensure peace, before, during and after the appeals.
The NNPP and the APC camps were represented at the meeting by Wada Ibrahim and Ibrahim Sarina, vice chairman and secretary of the parties respectively.
