The board of trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party rose from a crucial meeting on Thursday after raising a committee to resolve the crisis rocking the party.
A former Senate President, David Mark, announced the setting up of the committe after the closed-door meeting of the BoT at the party headquarters in Abuja.
He said the committee, expected to meet within the next 72 hours, would include governors, members of the BoT, members of the national assembly, members of the national working committee, former governors and former ministers in the party.
The PDP is facing an internal crisis, leading to some of its top leaders either resigning from their positions or leaving the party.
