(BREAKING) Rivers: Tribunal throws out LP’s petition, upholds gov Fubara’s election
The Rivers State Governorship Election petition Tribunal has dismissed the appeal brought by Labour Party candidate Beatrice Itubo disputing the proclamation of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Simnalaye Fubara as the victor of the 2023 governorship election in the state.

The Tribunal in Abuja is hearing a petition brought by LP and All Progressives Congress, APC candidate Tonye Cole.
Beatrice Itubo, who wants the tribunal to declare her winner of the polls, came third in the election.
