President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded a fresh list of 32 ambassadorial nominees—comprising 15 career diplomats and 17 non-career nominees—to the Senate for confirmation, expanding the ongoing overhaul of Nigeria’s diplomatic postings.

Also listed is former Lagos deputy governor Otunba Femi Pedro, ex–Oyo First Lady Florence Ajimobi, and former Lagos Commissioner Lola Akande.

Others nominated are Prof. Nora Ladi Daduut, Barr. Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu, former Adamawa senator Grace Bent, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, and former envoy to the Holy See, Amb. Paul Oga Adikwu.

On the career ambassador list are diplomats such as Enebechi Monica Okwuchukwu, Yakubu Nyaku Danladi, Maimuna Ibrahim Besto, Musa Musa Abubakar, Syndoph Paebi Endoni, Chima Geoffrey Lioma David, and Mopelola Adeola-Ibrahim.
