President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met with the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Dr Kayode Fayemi, in Abuja.
The president also met with the governor of Niger State, Sani Bello, and the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Caretaker Committee and Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni.
It was learnt that the governors met with the President over the security situation in Niger State.
Protesters had on Monday blocked the Abuja-Kaduna highway in Gauraka town over frequent kidnappings in the area. The caused gridlock expressway.
The governors however did not speak to the journalists who approached them after the meeting.
